You may pay more to fly out of Tampa International Airport soon.
A bill will soon be introduced in the U.S. House that would nearly double the so-called passenger facility fee charged by airports for improvements.
That fee is currently $4.50 per ticket.
The money would be used for the next phase of TIA renovations including a new international terminal and a new control tower.
