A woman was rushed to the hospital late Wednesday after deputies found her suffering gunshot wounds in the doorway to her home.
The persons believed to have shot the woman, who was not immediately identified, remain at large.
It is believed the woman was shot just after 9:00 p.m. on the 6300 block of Haines Road, where she lives, deputies said.
She remains in serious condition, deputies said.
An investigation is ongoing.
