TAMPA, Fla. (AP) _ Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn will host three town hall meetings in August to discuss the impact of the Republican National Convention on residents and businesses.
Representatives from several agencies, including the Tampa Police Department, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Tampa Fire Rescue and Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority will be available for questions.
The first meeting is planned for Aug. 14 at the Florida Aquarium.
The second will take place Aug. 15 at Stetson University. The third will be held Aug. 16 at the Kate Jackson Community Center. Each meeting is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m.
The convention runs Aug. 27-30 at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.
