Tuesday is the first day of classes in Charlotte, the first of Florida’s 67 school districts to kick off the 2012-13 academic year.

Charlotte is one of seven districts starting this week. Brevard, Citrus, Lee, Nassau and Walton counties start Wednesday and Sumter County on Thursday.
