Bradenton, Florida — At least 22 people are injured after a school bus and a tractor trailer crashed Thursday afternoon in Bradenton.
The crash happened at State Road 64 and 64th Street Court East around 4:15. The Florida Highway patrol says the bus collided with the back of the semi.
Twenty-one students and the bus driver were transported to three area hospitals for non-life threatening injuries. The bus was transporting students from Braden River Middle School and had about 40 students on board, total.
The driver of the semi was not injured
