MELBOURNE, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a 37-year-old suicidal man was shot and killed by police outside a central Florida apartment.
Melbourne police spokesman Trevor Shaffer says 37-year-old Ryan Wesley Radar emerged from his apartment holding a handgun Monday night.
The Orlando Sentinel (http://thesent.nl/z4kWso ) reports three officers were responding to a call about a suicidal man.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the shooting.
No further details were immediately available.
