Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office detectives are on scene of a homicide that occurred at approximately 10:00 p.m. at on North 42 Street in Tampa.
Detectives say that the man killed was in the apartment with approximately 4 other individuals when there was a knock at the door.
When he opened it, he was confronted by two black males.
The began to struggle and the victim was pistol whipped and then shots were fired.
The two suspects fled the scene and the victim was transported to Florida Hospital where he died.
The victim’s name is being withheld until next of kin has been notified.
Suspect descriptions are:
#1 – Black male, 6’1″, 160 lbs., wearing all black clothing and armed with a handgun.
#2 – Black male, 5’10”, 160 lbs., clean shaven, wearing a black shirt with a white undershirt.
