A teen girl died Friday morning when a car slammed into her and her brother as he rode her on the back of his bicycle, Florida Highway Patrol reported.
Troopers are looking for the black Mercedes involved in the hit-and-run accident.
Lanes were closed on East Colonial Drive at Dean Road for about five hours while authorities investigated the crash site.
According to FHP spokeswoman Kim Montes, 17-year-old Melanie Luque and 18-year-old Travis Luque Exposito were riding a bicycle across East Colonial Drive around 3:30 a.m.
