Lakeland Police Investigate Homicide that happened Sunday at approximately 2:45 a.m.
Police were called to 913 Quincy Street in reference to a suspicious death.
Upon arrival, officers found Ronnie Barnes, 63, who had suffered upper body trauma and died as a result of those injuries.
Detectives have interviewed several witnesses in this incident.
An autopsy has been scheduled.
No charges have been filed, at this time.
