Hillsborough County Sheriff’s deputies are responding to an individual who jumped off the Sunshine Skyway bridge Monday morning.
A Florida Highway Patrol trooper saw the man, who was not immediately identified, leap off the bridge just after 8:45 a.m., officials said. The trooper immediately notified the Sheriff’s Office.
A recovery effort is underway.
