It’s been 6 long years yet the family of Leon Dash still doesn’t know who murdered him.
Tuesday, two of his sisters joined Clearwater Police in asking for someone to come forward with information.
Six years ago, 50-year-old Dash was working security as a favor for some friends who were putting on a teen dance at the Atrium club in downtown Clearwater.
Hundreds of people had gathered in a parking lot at closing time.
“A disturbance broke out and Mr Dash who was working as security attempted to intervene and break it up,” said Clearwater Police Detective Michael Hasty.
“Someone viciously attacked Dash, but out of all the people there were no witnesses who came forward,” said Detective Hasty.
