BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) — Lee County Sheriff’s officials say a man died while working on a southwest Florida communications tower.
Someone called the sheriff’s office saying the man appeared to be stuck on the Bonita Springs tower, some 600 feet above ground. Officials say 61-year-old Nick Rouskey was already dead when they arrived at the tower just before 5 p.m. Monday.
Sheriff’s officials say it took some time to get the man’s body down from the tower. The body was taken to the Lee County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
