Big Pasco Spice Bust

ODESSSA, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a father and son face federal charges for making and selling synthetic drugs in a Pasco County industrial park.

Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said Thursday the pair bought vats of chemicals from China and made the products in Odessa.

He says they shipped hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of drugs commonly known as Spice and bath salts across the nation.

Nocco says it was “absolutely shocking” what investigators found at the Bodies of Nature office.

The Tampa Bay Times (http://bit.ly/T5VHP8 ) reports 58-year-old Bradley Bostwick and his son, 31-year-old Garrett Bostwick were recently arrested.

Nocco says his office began working with federal authorities after getting a call from South Dakota officials who traced products sold there to Pasco County.

Authorities say the pair was released pending trial.
