A 6-year-old boy from Orange County drowned while on board the Carnival Victory cruise ship over the weekend.
The Miami-Dade Police Department said Qwentyn Hunter, of Winter Garden, was found under the water in a pool aboard the ship. Investigators said Qwentyn was playing in the pool with his 10-year-old brother.
Passengers immediately pulled him Qwentyn out of the pool and began CPR, but the child was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Miami-Dade Police Department is investigating and said the incident appears to be accidental, and they did not suspect foul play.
