TALLAHASSEE, Florida — They were first marketed as an alternative to smoking cigarettes, but now electronic cigarettes are getting into the hands of minors.
Jim Hampton owns Just VaPin’ in Tallahassee. He says he’s always stopped people under 18 from buying them.
“We believe in self-regulation,” Hampton said. “Without a parent in the store and if they look under 18, we certainly will ask for an I.D. and if they don’t produce one, we’ll ask them to leave.”
