LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) — The Florida Department of Citrus has a new leader.
Douglas Ackerman was picked Wednesday to lead the Lakeland-based agency that markets and regulates Florida citrus.
Ackerman most recently was the category marketing manager at Publix Super Markets.
Ackerman starts his new job in January.
