TUESDAY AFTERNOON ALONG THE COASTAL COUNTIES FROM SARASOTA
NORTHWARD TO LEVY...

.A WEAK AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE NORTH ACROSS THE EASTERN
GULF OF MEXICO THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. BANDS OF RAINFALL TO THE
EAST OF THIS LOW ARE EXPECTED TO IMPACT THE COASTAL AREAS OF
WESTERN FLORIDA. WHERE THESE BANDS SET UP...THE RAINFALL IS
LIKELY TO BE HEAVY IN NATURE WITH SEVERAL INCHES OF ACCUMULATION
POSSIBLE. THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO FALL JUST OFFSHORE
FROM THE FLORIDA WEST COAST...HOWEVER UNCERTAINLY IN THE EXACT
TRACK OF THE LOW PRESENTS A MODERATE THREAT FOR SIGNIFICANT
RAINFALL FOR COASTAL COUNTIES OF WESTERN FLORIDA.

  AREAS...AND LOW LYING FLOOD PRONE AREAS. ADDITIONAL RIVER
  FLOODING MAY DEVELOP ACROSS WEST CENTRAL FLORIDA...AND FLOODING
  WILL LIKELY BE EXACERBATED ON RIVERS CURRENTLY NEAR OR IN
  FLOOD STAGE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT FLOODING IS POSSIBLE DURING THE NEXT
24 TO 36 HOURS. RESIDENTS LIVING IN FLOOD PRONE AREAS SHOULD TAKE
ACTION TO PROTECT PROPERTY.
