Flood Watch For Most Of Tampa Bay

There is a flood watch for most of the bay area until 8 Monday night.

There are also flood warnings for nearly a dozen Tampa Bay rivers and creeks.

Chances of rain today are 80 percent.

Most rain the Bay Area gets will be between one and two inches. But some spots will get more.

This has been the third wettest August locally since records have been kept.

Tampa Bay has gotten more than 16 inches during the month so far; 9 inches more than usual.

The added rain today will be bad news especially for Pasco County, still reeling from record flooding several weeks ago.
