An office manager fired after she was suspected of embezzling money from the Bradenton animal shelter where she worked has now been charged criminally.
The Manatee Sheriff’s Office says 46 year old Gail Judah pocketed cash from donations and adoptions over seven years.
All told, she took $66 thousand.
Sheriff’s investigators zeroed in on Judah because she was the only employee at the Bishop Animal Shelter-SPCA of Manatee County with access to the money.
