TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Guests were forced to evacuate a Tampa hotel after a fire broke out on the second floor.
Roughly 30 Tampa firefighters responded to The Grand Suites hotel Sunday afternoon and quickly located the fire in a room on the second floor. The unoccupied room was also filled with heavy smoke but firefighters were able to put out the blaze in just a few minutes.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire in the three-story hotel is unknown, but firefighters have said it was accidental.
