Ferguson Grand Juror Wants To Tell Her Story

A member of the St. Louis County grand jury that refused to indict then-Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson in the shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown last year wants to tell her story publicly. Her lawsuit, aimed at letting her do that, has been thrown out by a federal judge.

But the woman, known only as “Grand Juror Doe,” isn’t giving up. She’s appealing to a higher federal court and, simultaneously, filing suit in Missouri State Court. Jim was in Ferguson last week and updates the juror’s story.

ABC’s Jim Ryan joined us from Dallas, Texas to discuss.
