The attorney for David and Jackie Siegel says 18 year old Victoria had just gotten out of rehab for an addiction to pain killers when she was found dead at her parents’ Seagull Island mansion on Green Island Cove Saturday.
Authorities aren’t immediately blaming her death on an overdose of pain killers prescribed to her by doctors to treat seizures, instead deferring to an autopsy report expected to take up to three months.
Victoria is the daughter of David Siegel, founder of Orlando-based time-share company Westgate Resorts.
The family is likely nationally known for the 2012 “Queen of Versailles” documentary, which followed construction of the family’s 90,000-square-foot mansion near Windermere.
A private funeral is today.
