‘Ellen’s CoverGirl’ Loses Cancer Battle

Talia Castellano has died. The “honorary CoverGirl” made famous on “Ellen” lost her battle to cancer on July 16. The news came by way of Talia’s official Facebook page and left thousands of fans heartbroken and in shock.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share with all of you that Talia has earned her wings at 11:22am. Please lift her beautiful soul, her beautiful light to heaven and please send your love and prayers to her family during this most difficult time. God speed little one, may you be free from pain and suffering, may your soul feel the light and love that you brought to so many of us on this Earth during the short time you were her with us. We will miss you more than you will ever know baby girl (sic),” read the message on Talia’s official Facebook page.

Talia Castellano, 13, died after coming down with a fever and needing a platelet transfusion. She has been in the hospital for the past 6 months. While she had days where she felt well enough to talk and even check her YouTube channel (where she would post some amazing make-up tutorials), she had days where she preferred to stay in her hospital bed and sleep.
