Election Day In 3 Bay Area Counties

Elections are being held in three Bay Area counties today.

The big one is probably in St. Petersburg, where three council seats are up for grabs.

Winners will help shape the way the city deals with the Tampa Bay Rays question.

But city officials only expect about a 10 percent voter turnout.

St. Pete voters also are deciding several referendum questions and charter adjustments.

Elections are taking place in Polk and Manatee counties.
