Police got a tip that 36 year old Allison Huffman was at a friend’s St. Petersburg apartment last night.

Police say Huffman admitted that she was the driver who struck 43 year old Rogelio Perez-Borroto as he helped a stranded motorist on the I-275 shoulder.

Huffman took a cab from there to the Hard Rock Casino.
