Deputies were responding to a disturbance call at 11000 Smoken Gun Lane and when they arrived, they were confronted by a suspect with a firearm.
Deputies ordered the suspect to drop the weapon and when the suspect failed to comply, they shot the suspect.
Deputies then searched the residence and discovered the body of a deceased man. At this time it appears to be a homicide.
The sheriff’s office is currently securing a search warrant to search the home and property.
Two deputies involved in the shooting were uninjured.
