TAMPA- Deputies have arrested a 37-year-old man in Sunday’s triple shooting near the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
It left 2 women dead and another seriously injured, and the shooting happened in broad daylight. The sheriff’s office has confirmed the suspect is Jason Mark Burnett.
Neighbors told us they were surprised the shooting happened so close to HSCO’s office.
“It’s very close; you’d think nothing would happen here,” said neighbor Jeremiah Greenberg.
It all went down just after 11 a.m. Sunday morning at 7420 Manhattan Drive just off Gunn Highway and right near the Citrus Park Mall.
