A Deltona woman faces aggravated battery charges after allegedly attacking her boyfriend with a knife because he refused to have sex with her.
Police say it happened last weekend when a drunk 37 year old Yanilca Ortiz-Burgos walked into her Antilles Terrace bedroom, woke up her boyfriend, 46 year old Jose Vega-Hernandez, and demanded that he have sex with her.
He refused, saying he was too tired.
That apparently was the wrong answer.
Ortiz-Burgos jumped on Vega-Hernandez, and when he pushed her off, she got a knife and cut him on the belly while three children, ages 9, 10, and 17, looked on.
The injury is superficial but enough to get police involved.
Ortiz-Burgos is out of jail on her own recognizance and vowing to get a boyfriend who fulfills her needs on her timetable.
