Students and school employees at Brandon High School were in for a surprise Monday morning upon arriving to school, a dead deer hanging from a flagpole.
Hillsborough County Schools spokesperson Tanya Arja said that when employees arrived at the school on Monday morning, it was dark and they didn’t notice the deer. Then as the sun was rising, students and employees noticed the dead deer hanging from flagpole.
School staff took the deer down immediately and called the HCSO to investigate.
Administrators aren’t sure if it’s a prank or not. Students took photos of the dead deer and shared them on social media.
