DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a central Florida man shot and killed a would-be intruder during an attempted break-in.
Daytona Beach police say someone called them early Thursday, saying he had shot someone who was trying to get into his house.
Orlando television station WESH reports the man died at the scene shortly after the 6 a.m. shooting.
No further information was immediately available.
