DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) _ Deputies are investigating the drowning deaths of two toddlers found in the backyard pool of a central Florida home.
The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office reports that a 2-year-old girl and 1-year-old boy were found Thursday in the backyard of a home near Daytona Beach.
When paramedics arrived at the home, the toddlers weren’t breathing.
The children were taken to hospitals where they were pronounced dead.
Deputies say two adults and another child were in the home at the time of the drownings.
