Dade City Family Displaced After Fire

Pasco Fire Rescue responded to a mobile home fire last night where a family with two adults and five children (ages 3-13) were displaced from a fire that destroyed their home.

Pasco County Firefighters responded to the mobile home fire at 19118 U.S. Highway 301 in Dade City Wednesday evening.

The fire was reported at 8:14 p.m. and when crews arrived, the single family home was heavily involved in fire. A total of eighteen firefighters from three different stations were on the scene to fight the fire. Although the fire was quickly contained to mainly the front part of the home, the structure was deemed a total loss.

Two adults and five children were displaced as a result of the fire. No injuries were reported. The fire remains under investigation this morning, but early indications are that the cause was accidental.
