The staff of the Royal Caribbean cruise ship has been evacuated after a suspicious package was located Thursday morning at the Port of Tampa.
The cruise ship staff, as well as Terminal 3, have been evacuated.
The package was located by a K-9 unit during a routine cargo screening around 9 a.m. on the Terminal 3 dock near the ship, Hillsborough County deputies say.
Channelside Drive is shut down from Kennedy Boulevard to Cumberland Avenue while the process continues.
An investigation is ongoing.
