ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) _ Jurors have begun deliberating in the civil trial of pro wrestler Hulk Hogan’s lawsuit against Gawker media over a sex video.
Lawyers for both Hogan and Gawker gave closing arguments on Friday morning.
Hogan, whose given name is Terry Bollea, is suing Gawker for $100 million for posting a video in 2012 of him having sex with his former best friend’s wife.
Hogan contends it was a violation of his privacy.
Gawker’s editors contend the video and an accompanying post was a newsworthy commentary on the ordinariness of celebrity sex videos.
