Clearwater Native Juliet Simms Rocks “The Voice”

Clearwater native, Juliet Simms, rocked the Monday night performance of NBC’s “The Voice” and at the end had the judges standing on their feet given her the nights only standing ovation.

Simms, gritty voice and rocker style was a perfect match for the Police song “Roxanne”.

She impressed Judge Adam Levine, front-man for Maroon 5, so much that he expressed frustration that he lost the battle to have Simms on his team. Simms ultimately chose Cee Lo Green as her coach.

Levine said “That is the best performance so far”.

Pop Star and judge Christina Aguilera was so impressed she told Simms, “Your voice is so doooooooope.”.

Her coach, Green, beemed like a proud Papa and said, “Wow, just wow…and no “bells and whistles, just that voice. All you need is that voice”.

Monday night the public cast votes to put through their favorites.

The results will air tonight at 9 p.m.
