According to the Florida Highway Patrol, officials say a child has been hit by a car and rushed to a local hospital.
The accident happened in Pinellas Park at 34th Street and 64th Avenue North.
Police say the child was hit by a Dodge Intrepid
The child has not been identified and no word on injuries.
