Celebrate With A Prettier Plate That Offers Portion Control

We’ve seen portion control plates before, but they’ve never been so discreet as this new set from Slim & Sage. (We actually featured one a few years ago that proclaimed “The Diet Plate” right on the rim!)

These plates are so pretty, they’re featured in the July issue of Coastal Living magazine and there isn’t any mention of the science behind them.

The 9-inch size is based on the theory that people who use smaller plates eat less food. Research shows that we tend to pile food onto our plates until they’re full – and the average these days is about 12 inches.
