Tragedy has struck at a St. Petersburg construction site.
A 27 year old worker moving a water pump was killed when a bulldozer backed over him.
It happened at a site off Oak Street NE near Gandy Boulevard where land is being cleared for apartments.
The bulldozer driver says he did not see the man.
The driver is hospitalized after becoming extremely distraught.
