Two-time World Cup champion and two-time Olympic gold medalist Brandi Chastain joined Your Wake Up Call to talk about soccer’s growing popularity in the U.S., including the emergence of social media, making for a more interactive experience among fans in addition to provide accessibility to players.

We revisited her unforgettable moment at the 1999 World Cup, when she clinched a victory for the U.S. women against China on American soil and talked about what it did for women’s sports.
