A days-long boil water notice continues into Monday for St. Pete Beach.
The order comes after a pipe break at 75th Avenue and Blind Pass Road that left many residents with little or no water pressure for most of the weekend.
The pipe has been fixed and water is flowing again, but tests show contamination.
Hence the boil notice until further notice.
The lack of water pressure and contamination forced businesses in St. Pete Beach to close much of the weekend and residents to snatch up as much bottled water as they could.
