Arrest Made in Death of Video Store Clerk

HAINES CITY, Fla. AP — Authorities have made an arrest in the shooting death of a video store clerk.

The Polk County Sheriffs Office says Jacroy Shamar Waddell has been charged with robbery and first-degree murder in the death of 20-year-old Jaime Magana, Jr.

Magana was working at Video Latino in Haines City on Saturday morning when two men entered the store brandishing a handgun. Video surveillance showed the suspects struggling with Magana and removing cash from the register. They then fled from the scene.

Magana was found dead by a customer.

Deputies arrested Waddell Sunday in Tampa. The second suspect, identified as Jadarius Latra Wilson, is still at large. There is a warrant for his arrest.
