Armed Robbery on USF Campus

An armed robbery of a University of South Florida student happened just after 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Tampa’s Campus.

Police have made one arrest but are looking for two other male suspects.

According to USF police, a juvenile was arrested early Sunday. Officials have not released his name because he’s a juvenile but he was found off campus and faces an armed robbery charge.

According to authorities, the student was sitting in his vehicle when he was approached by three males who demanded money at gunpoint.

The student handed over money and the men fled off campus.

The school has sent out university-wide emails and text alerts to alert students of the robbery.
