PLANT CITY – The annual Plant City Christmas Parade doesn’t come together overnight, so organizers are already busy lining up floats and sponsors.
The parade will march its way through downtown at 7 p.m. Dec. 6. It’s always one of the earliest Christmas parades in the region and helps herald in the holiday season.
“Celebrate the Season” will be the theme of this year’s parade, which has been held for three decades.
The committee needs businesses as sponsors to help with such costs as floats for schools that can’t afford them without financial help, she said. The sponsors get their names on the floats in return, she said.
