An Evening with miggs
Writing, recording and playing music for a living is what makes the Tampa-based band miggs – Don Miggs (lead vocals/lead guitar), Michael Lombardo (bass), Walker Adams (drums) and John Luzzi (guitar ) – who they are. Miggs is a hometown band, sort of. None of them actually come from Tampa but for over the past 8 years it has become the place where bassist Michael Lombardo and Don Miggs reside …
… It’s where Don Miggs has a recording studio where Miggs recorded their new album due out January 2015 on Elm City Music/Universal and also where other great bands such as Cowboy Mouth have recorded as well.
… It’s where the band rehearses for national tours with acts like Plain White T’s and Scott Weiland and KT Tunstall.
… And it’s where Don and his wife, Lisa DeBartolo Miggs (Former Board Member), host their popular AM820 radio show The Fringe. Actually, the radio show will be live from the Straz before Miggs hits the stage!
Milestones for the band include playing Good Morning America, touring more than 150 dates a year with artists that have included Plain White T’s, KT Tunstall, and Cowboy Mouth, playing at events with artists such as Aerosmith, Meat Loaf, Maroon 5 and Train.
