SANFORD, Fla. – An all woman jury was seated Thursday afternoon in the George Zimmerman murder trial. Alternates are still being chosen.
The jury consists of five white females and one Hispanic female. Four alternates are needed.
Zimmerman is charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in February, 2012. Zimmerman admits to killing Martin, but claims it was in self defense.
The trial is expected to last 2 – 4 weeks.
