When Al Sharpton opened “Politics Nation” Wednesday night, he mistook the Ottawa shooting for Iowa. He was attempting to gather the latest information from Canada by interviewing Chloe Fedio.
“What’s the latest tonight in Iowa?” asked Sharpton.
“Well, In Ottawa…” Fedio responded. She said the situation was “less tense” in Ottawa, even though the lockdown was still active.
At the time it was unknown if Fedio had prior knowledge of Sharpton’s previous issues with the teleprompter.
