There have been rallies in New York City and Sanford, FL relating to the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, and now there will be one in Tampa Bay.
The rally is being put together by a local Facebook group is to be held at 10:30 a.m. at Al Lopez Park, 4010 N. Himes Avenue. It will start there and proceed to North Dale Mabry at Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard.
“Real Talk: Real Answers,” is a group of about 100 members.
The group says the public is welcome and encourages protestors to wear hoodies, and bring posters and signs.
The gathering is expected to last until 1 p.m.
