A 91 year old Avon Park man opened fire on landscapers outside his Palo Verde Drive home after they got grass clippings on his car.
Max Horton first forced one groundskeeper to his knees at gunpoint, and then fired a shot at him and his co-worker who tried to intervene.
Horton now face attempted murder charges and is in jail without bond.
No one was injured.
