LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. (AP) _ Officials say a 4-year-old boy drowned in a southwest Florida swimming pool.
Lee County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the home in Lehigh Acres on Sunday after the child was found in the pool.
Officials say the child climbed on a lawn chair to get over the pool fence.
The child died a short time later at Lehigh Regional Medical Center.
