3 Arrested In Bradenton Hooter’s Restaurant Fight

A fight that broke out Sunday night in a Bradenton Hooter’s restaurant landed three in jail and sent one man to the hospital.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office, a group of people were sitting at a table on the outside portion of the 4908 14th Street West location around 6 p.m. when three other men walked past their table.

The group said something and a fight ensued.

One of the suspects, 22-year-old Christopher Reif grabbed the arm of 32-year-old Noah Jarvis and tried to take his cell phone. Fernando Lopez, 21, and Alberto Lara, 20, started to punch Jarvis.

That’s when 6-year-old Roger Ferris, a random patron inside the restaurant tried to help Jarvis but was knocked down and beaten by the other suspects.

The restaurant manager broke up the fight and ordered the suspects out. They left, but not before threatening him as well. The manager called 9-1-1.

Deputies responded to the restaurant, investigated and located the three some time later.

Reif, Lopez and Lara were each charged with unarmed robbery, battery, threatening an officer, resisting arrest and threatening violence.

Jarvis was taken to Manatee Memorial Hospital in unknown condition while Ferris declined EMS treatment.
